"Peace in our Time"

This excellent article from Front Page Magazine compares the James Baker proposal for talks with Iran and Syria to Neville Chamberlain's deal with Hitler.

The Jewish state would be left with no alternative but to take whatever military action it could to stop Iran from completing its nuclear program. American capitulation will have left it with no alternative. Would Jim Baker cut such a deal? In a heartbeat. Never a friend of Israel, he wouldn't flinch at a realpolitik solution giving Iran power throughout the region. But why would Bush go along? It would be "peace in our time" - Munich, 1938 - all over again.
