Hatred of Trump = Hatred of Jews

Seth J. Frantzman writes in the Jerusalem Post: "The Poway and Pittsburgh shootings are connected by hatred of Jews and hatred of Trump, who is accused of being a 'Jew-lover' and hosting an administration 'infested' by Jews." and  "What is clear is that there is a link between antisemitism on the far Right and anti-Trump views, a link that is also clear on the far Left. It tends to unite around hatred not only of Jews, but also of Israel and of beliefs that the US is controlled by Jews, who in turn are accused of controlling banks or the media. It shows how antisemitism, when it is a defining worldview and ethos, can easily turn anyone into an enemy, once that person is linked to Jews or 'globalism.'"

At Instapundit, Ed Driscoll posts these items: "As Mark Steyn once wrote, 'The old joke — that the Germans will never forgive the Jews for Auschwitz — gets truer every week.'
Related: Ace of Spades notes that 'You can tell the New York Times was totally sincere in apologizing for the first Jew-baiting cartoon because they ran a similar one within 48 hours. It’s a calculated insult — it’s designed to let you know their apology was obligatory, but Jews are still Oppressors and will continue getting the Oppressor treatment.'

A Dog of an Anti-Semitic Cartoon

Read Dominic Green's excellently-written article about the anti-Semitic cartoon published in the New York Times. Here's an excerpt, so you can experience his writing style:

"Easter worshippers who opened Thursday’s copy of the International Edition of the New York Times were treated to a cartoon to warm the cockles of white supremacists, Islamists and lovers of ‘Edelweiss’ everywhere. The cartoon, apparently by a Portuguese artist named Antonio Antunes Moreira of Espresso, depicted a blind Donald Trump, resplendent in the kippah he wears at all times except when the cameras are near, being led by Benjamin Netanyahu in the form of a sausage dog, wearing the Star of David dog collar that all sausage dogs wear.

Some people published something, and now all those over-sensitive Jews are blaming the entire New York Times for it. How thin-skinned they are. I mean, it’s not like this cartoon says that a tiny country on the other side of the world controls the president of the most powerful country in the world.

It’s not like this cartoon implies this alleged manipulation is religious in inspiration, hence the kippah and the Star of David necklace, as if that might be the source of the malignant and magical power that this tiny people exerts over global politics.

It’s not like the image of the ‘Jewish dog’ as manipulator has any resonance in European Christian culture. ‘As the dog Jew did utter in the streets, “My daughter, O my ducats”,’ Salarino says in the line that isn’t in The Merchant of Venice.

It’s not as if the same image of the Jewish dog has any resonance among Muslims, whose holy book promises the transformation of Jews and Christians into apes, pigs and dogs.

It’s not as if this classic European anti-Semitism, combined with what dog breeders would call a novel crossbreeding with themes rampant in the Jew-hating Arab and Muslim world.

It’s not, because none of it is real. This, at least, is the argument of the morally enfeebled non-apology that the Times’s New York office emitted after all the touchy Twitter Jews complained."

Poway Pogrom

Here we go again. Read about the latest anti-Jewish shootings that took one life at the Chabad synagogue in California. It's no coincidence that this has taken place six months to the day since the Tree of Life pogrom.

I don't have any interest in knowing more about the murderer, his age, his opinions, or his parents, and I don't want to hear Democrats demanding tougher gun laws. Just lock this killer away, beef up security at all synagogues, and stop giving him the publicity he craves.

Slaughter in Sri Lanka

Yesterday's deadly, coordinated terrorist attacks have all the hallmarks of Al Qaeda. Odd how these coldblooded murders are getting less attention than the Mueller report and the attempts to impeach the President.

From the BBC, a list that demonstrates once again how evil and vicious these terrorists are, and why we need to be more vigilant here at home:

"Officials say 290 people were killed and another 500 injured in the suicide attacks
Most of the dead are Sri Lankan nationals, but 31 people from other countries are believed to have been killed
No-one has admitted carrying out the bombings. The government has blamed a local jihadist group known as the National Thowheed Jamath which it said had the support of an 'international network'
Police have so far arrested 24 people in a series of raids
There was another blast on Monday near a church in the capital, Colombo, as security forces tried to defuse explosives inside a vehicle used by the attackers
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has said authorities were 'aware of information' of possible attacks but the intelligence was not acted upon
A nationwide emergency, which will give police and military extensive powers to detain and interrogate suspects, will be declared from midnight (18:30 GMT) on Monday"

"Uneducated, Unskilled, and Largely Unemployable"

From American Thinker: "Want some perspective on why so many blue sanctuary cities have so many homeless encampments hovering around? Try the reality that illegal immigrants are routinely given free public housing by the U.S., based on the fact that they are uneducated, unskilled, and largely unemployable. Those are the criteria, and now importing poverty has never been easier."

Read that phrase again: "uneducated, unskilled, and largely unemployable".  So can the Democrats explain to me how their presence benefits our country?

Advice for the Republicans

Instead of rehashing the collusion hoax and the Mueller report over and over, Trump and the Republicans should now move on and talk solely about their accomplishments (the great economy, the low unemployment, the abundance of jobs) and talk about what they still hope to accomplish, such as more drilling, repairing our infrastructure, and keeping America safe. Let the Democrats hang themselves with their obsession with the Mueller report and impeachment, since they have no accomplishments to brag about.

It'll be a winning formula for Republicans in 2020.

Chalishing for Harold Ticktin

I just love the Yiddish Vinkl column by Harold Ticktin! Today's word is chalish, meaning faint. One amusing example he uses is this: “Platzing and chalishing are two Yiddish equivalents to the term ‘in desperate need of;’ for example, one would platz for the bathroom and chalish for a drink.”

(I had only ever seen and pronounced it as "plotz", so I had to look up "platz" - that's a new one on me.)

I Find This Hard to Swalwell

I never heard of this Eric Swalwell before, but he sure reminds me of Senator Joseph McCarthy. McCarthy always claimed he had a list in his hand of 200 State Department employees who were Communists. Swalwell keeps insisting he saw evidence proving that Trump colluded with Russia, but he won't produce that evidence.

At least McCarthy didn't insult the people even further by running for President.

Also: do you personally know anyone who can't wait to get their hands on the Mueller report and actually read every word? I sure don't.

Another Win for Common Sense

Unbelievable. Who would ever think that something like this would be considered "aggressive", "intimidating", or "controversial"? I'm glad these residents had the common sense and decency to reject the latest ridiculous example of political correctness, and the complainers ought to go find something better to do with their time, or else get out of our country if they find everything here so offensive.

"The Laguna Beach City Council voted Tuesday night to retain a new logo for its 11 police vehicles that uses stars and stripes running through the word 'police' on the doors. Some in the small, artsy coastal community thought the flashy red, white and blue decal was too aggressive and flashy while others were surprised that anyone would object to the American flag."

The Joys of Reading in Print

From today's New York Times Tuesday Briefing:  "What we’re reading:  This essay in The Atlantic. Tom Jolly, who oversees production of our daily print edition, writes: 'This is a nice distillation of the joys of reading the newspaper, at your own pace, uninterrupted by texts, calls and general attention-deficit issues. And you can even model your robe for your neighbors!'

The essay is by Andrew Ferguson, and the headline is, "There’s No Substitute for Print. Some joys can't be digitized."

Parisians, We Grieve With You Today

What a horror to see a famous Paris landmark like Notre Dame Cathedral on fire today!  Everyone knows that exquisite church, and you can't imaging the landscape without it, just as you can't imagine New York without the Twin Towers. This tragedy will hopefully bring people together during Holy Week.

Greg Crosby on 'White Privilege"

This Greg Crosby column is so good I decided to publish it in its entirety. I'm sure commonsense people who have no use for the exhausting victimhood and blame mentality,  and the constant indoctrination on "racial equity, white supremacy, and inclusion" in this country will agree with it.

-----------------------------------------
"There's something wrong with me. I'm an adult white man living in the United States of America in 2019 and I feel absolutely no white privilege at all.

None.

I worked hard all my life at my chosen profession. I didn't come from a family of money. I had many menial jobs as a teen and young man until I was able to work my way into the career I wanted to have.

I hated social climbing and office politics so I didn't engage in it. Whatever I achieved I got through hard work, talent, and perseverance.

No one ever gave me anything that I didn't earn. I had no personal connections to rich smart business people, so I had no one to give me advice on money matters.

When I married and wanted to buy my own place I worked my day job and also stayed up nights doing freelance work in order to save enough money to put down on a condo.

I'm white and yet I have no guilt feelings whatsoever over past injustices that may have been perpetrated on some people by other people, all of whom are now long dead.

I myself have never participated in racial injustice.

I have never treated anyone differently on the basis of his or her race, religion, or social standing.

I judge people as individuals, not as groups.

When I was in a position to hire people I did so solely on their ability to do the job they were being considered for.

It never occurred to me to hire a person because they were of a certain race or because they were a man or a woman.

But I don't think I'm anything very special. I would bet the vast majority of white men in this country have treated people of other persuasions the very same way I have.

In my everyday life I have never personally witnessed any white man mistreating a person because of their ethnicity, skin color, sex, or religion. This isn't to say that bias and racism doesn't exist, but I know it isn't as widespread as the left would have us believe.

Interestingly, the ones who are preoccupied with judging people on the basis of their race, gender and ethnicity seem to be mostly the ones on the left. The ones who insist on separating the American people into distinct groups are liberal Democrats.

The left has a vested interest in making sure our society stays segregated and does not assimilate into one united American culture.

For the Democrats to succeed they need our country to be divided into niche groups.

There's only one thing that the left wants the niche groups to be united on, and that is that the white men are the bad guys.

White men have kept all other cultures down. White men have enslaved the Africans.

White men have held women down through mistreatment, bullying, rape, and fear.

White men have brought disease and death to millions. White men have destroyed the environment.

White men have brought aids into the black community.

White men are responsible for the drug culture.

White men are no damn good. If you don't believe me, attend any one of our esteemed colleges and universities and they'll set you straight.

How can there be 'white privilege' when everyone in the world who isn't white hates you?

So what's that, the privilege of being despised by everybody?

If you're white the only way you might be able to escape blame is to be a woman. But here's the thing, white people, Europeans to be precise, founded America. When a country is primarily made up of one race, isn't it natural for that country to be predisposed to that particular race?

What about countries in Asia? Do the Japanese and Chinese suffer from 'yellow privilege?' And if so, why aren't they condemned for it?

Do the black people in Africa have 'black privilege?'

Does South America have 'Latino privilege?'

Is there 'Islamic privilege' in the Middle East?

Are Arab countries Christian-phobic? Of course they are. Why aren't they scorned for that? We know Arabs are Jewish-phobic, is that okay?

As a white guy I have nothing to be ashamed of. I will not prostrate myself, groveling and apologizing for being born a Caucasian man like every white Democrat running for President is doing now.

What weak pathetic people they are. Do they realize how self-pitying and slimy they sound? Do they really think they can win over America by genuflecting all over themselves?

For writing this column I am sure I will be labeled a white supremacist or neo-Nazi or whatever. The left is really good at simplistic hateful labels. But like so much of leftist rhetoric, white privilege is a made up thing. Today's ranting and bemoaning of so-called 'white privilege' is just the latest term the left is using to show their contempt for Western Civilization. "

Lots 'o Links

Catch up with all the news and interesting items with Maggie's Farm, Live Blog, and Larwyn's Linx!

Here's a nice appreciation of the wonderful columnist Daniel Greenfield, who blogs at Sultan Knish. He is "a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism."

Defense of the Homeland

What a relief that Netanyahu got re-elected! The alternative would have been akin to having a Democrat win the Presidency.   The headline of Joseph Klein's column is "Netanyahu Wins; Defense of the Jewish homeland is the voters' paramount concern."

Just like defense of the American homeland should be the American voters’ paramount concern in 2020!

What Israelis Don't Hear

In his excellent open letter to American left-wing JewsRabbi Uri Pilichowski talks about what Israelis would like to hear from American Jews:  "Israelis hear American Jews talking about religious pluralism, racism, social justice, equality for Palestinian Arabs and a two state solution. Israelis hear the criticism of Israeli leaders, corruption and policies. What Israelis aren’t hearing are the voices that express concern over Palestinian delegitimization of Israel, of economic attacks like BDS, and most of all, of Palestinian Arab attacks against innocent Israelis."

Read the entire letter, and pass it along.

Incredible Lack of Respect and Decency in a Cemetery

I came across this outrageous story today at Lucianne.com, and I guess by now we shouldn't be surprised at the daily examples of ridiculous political correctness we see.

What is wrong with people?? The only ones who should be offended is anyone who has loved ones in any cemetery. What kind of sick minds came up with this disgraceful idea? Cemeteries are solemn places, hallowed ground, places where you come to mourn. That a visitor to any cemetery would even think to be offended by crosses there shows they must either be fanatics, atheists, or mentally ill; and that the cemetery staff would actually cover them up shows extreme ignorance. They should be made an example of and fired, before this idea comes to your own cemetery.

Uncover those crosses at once!

(The above photo shows part of the Normandy American Cemetery in France. Just try to cover those crosses!)

Lots 'o Links

There are some terrific items at Larwyn's Linx, Liz Sheld's Morning Briefing, Harold Ticktin's Yiddish Vinkl, and Maggie's Farm.

Rabbi Aryeh Spero ends his column about anti-Semitism and the left by saying, "Many of us are thankful to those outside the Jewish community wanting to eradicate the scourge of anti-Semitism. They are noble people engaged in a noble cause. But until we are honest and acknowledge the role political leftism and radical Islam is playing, we Jews remain in danger, for one cannot stop anti-Semitism if one is reluctant to name its source and thereby confront and defeat it." How many times have we heard that and seen nothing done about it?

You Hate Trump So Much That Even the Elderly Are Fair Game

Since when is it acceptable to physically or verbally attack elderly people at any time and for any reason? When that elderly person is a Trump supporter, of course!  The shameless attacker (a real one, unlike in the Jussie Smollett hoax) has gotten her just desserts:  "A California accountant who attempted to 'publicly shame' an elderly Jewish man for wearing a 'Make America Great Again' hat has been fired from her job, the Washington Times reported."

This should be a lesson to any other liberal lunatics who lack respect and common decency, and who think that the elderly are targets. Just try it!

Antisemitic Doctors and Dentists: It Definitely ISN'T Safe

First Lara Kollab, the Jew-hating doctor, and now this dentist, Nessreen Zayed, who wants to torture her Jewish patients. Like everyone else, all I could think of was Laurence Olivier and Dustin Hoffman in "Marathon Man". These two women would have made excellent Nazis, experimenting on the Jews at Auschwitz.

Let's hope both of these people never work again -- unless they were to become the personal dentist and doctor of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

Piling On Biden

I'm no fan if Joe Biden, but compared to the rest of the Democratic Presidential candidates, at least he's not a socialist or a radical. So to me it seems conveniently timed that "Two more women told The Times on Tuesday that touches from the former vice president had made them uncomfortable.   Mr. Biden has denied acting inappropriately but has said he will 'listen respectfully.'" So here we go again where women only now come forward to say they were made uncomfortable 2 or 5 years ago -- but they didn't slap, kick, or punch him in response.

It sounds like the Democrats would prefer a more leftist candidate, probably a woman -- or will some men come forth to accuse the women of uncomfortable touching? -- and they will do whatever it takes to ensure that it happens.

Roger Waters Goes Berserk: From Pink Floyd to Anti-Semitic Paranoid

I love it!  "Israeli ‘April Fools’ prank infuriates BDS activist Roger WatersIsraeli Strategic Affairs Ministry tweeted, as an April 1st joke, that Waters – who boycotts Israel – would be playing in Tel Aviv in July."

Israel Today reports,  "In profanity-laced Twitter and Facebook posts, Waters took the opportunity to again trot out tired allegations of war crimes against Israel. "YOU DISGUST ME, AND YOU DISGUST THE WHOLE OF THE REST OF THE CIVILIZED WORLD," he concluded the Facebook post."

Good, then we're even, because he and his ilk disgust me and the rest of the Jewish world.

Not Anti-Semitic

Words of wisdom from Ken Livingstone, the former Mayor of London: "It’s not anti-Semitic to hate the Jews of Israel".

Well, that clears things up greatly! What a perfect statement from a real fool on April Fools' Day.
