Intelligence on Strike

Here are just two of many good articles I've read lately, when so many others,  I'm so angry at defiantly unvaccinated idiots who are prolonging this pandemic; angry at people quitting their jobs and  leaving their employers in the lurch; angry at the supply chain collapsing because nobody wants to do the job and unload ships and drive trucks. During WW2 you heard about "the war effort" against the enemy.  Now the enemy is a deadly virus, and there is no war effort.

These two articles just vindicated the way I've been feeling about what's been going on.

The Great Pretenders, by Kira Davis, is  an excellent synopsis of the way Democrats twist everything, making you wonder what happened to common sense. An excerpt:

"The Democrat party and their sycophants have become The Great Pretenders, and we are all supposed to follow right along despite what is so very obviously right in front of us every single day.

The Great Pretenders tell us not to believe our lying eyes or trust our lying ears.

Worried about an unprecedented $3.5 trillion dollar 'infrastructure' bill that includes the destruction of the independent contractor jobs and hundreds of billions in giveaways to special interest groups?

Don’t be. According to Democrat math $3.5 trillion dollars = $0 dollars.

Just pretend that the $500 dollars in groceries you just bought on your credit card won’t cost you a thing as long as you pretend that it won’t cost you a thing. It’s so easy!"

I enjoyed this column by Leonard Pitts, Jr., about the covidiot collaborators actually quitting their jobs rather than comply with the mandate and get a lifesaving vaccine. Here's a part of it:

"Well, on behalf of the rest of us, the ones who miss concerts, restaurants and other people’s faces, the ones who are sick and tired of living in pandemic times, here’s a word of response to you quitters: Goodbye.

Not to minimize any of this. A few weeks ago, a hospital in upstate New York announced it would have to 'pause' delivering babies because of resignations among its maternity staff. So the threat of difficult ramifications is certainly real. But on the plus side, your quitting goes a long way toward purging us of the gullible, the conspiracy-addled, the logic-impaired and the stubbornly ignorant. And that’s not nothing. We’ve been down this road before.

But the rest of us, we’re mad at you. Because this thing could have been over by now, and you’re the reason it isn’t

That’s why we were glad President Biden stopped asking nicely, started requiring vaccinations everywhere he had power to do so. We were also glad when employers followed suit. And if that’s a problem for you, then, yes, goodbye, sayonara, auf wiedersehen, adios and adieu. We’ll miss you, to be sure. But you’re asking us to choose between your petulance and our lives.

And that’s really no choice at all."

All I can say is, I'm glad these self-absorbed people will not be able to collect unemployment. Serves them right!
