COVID Rising

Lately, the TV news media hasn't been covering COVID as much as usual, but I am reading about news like this:  "New coronavirus infections are rising again in most states for the first time in two months, and deaths are increasing in about half of the states, a USA TODAY analysis of Johns Hopkins University data reveals." and "Highly-vaccinated Vermont has more COVID-19 cases than ever. Why is this happening?"

Let's hope that what's happening in Europe won't happen here: "Germany recorded more than 50,000 new Covid cases on Thursday, prompting a dire warning from one expert that the country could see a dramatic rise in fatalities." 

It's very discouraging, to say the least. Don't prematurely celebrate the end of the pandemic, and keep your guard up!
