The Economy is Good, We Don't Need to Drill, and COVID is Over

The stock market is down over 800 points, and we may be heading for a recession. We can't afford gasoline and food. But Jerome Powell says the economy is very strong.

John Kerry says we absolutely don't have to drill for more oil and gas, but Biden is set to beg Saudi Arabia for more oil.  Also,  "President Biden may resort to using emergency powers if American oil companies don't increase output at their refineries, the president told oil CEOs in a series of letters Wednesday."  Those CEOs aren't falling for the threats.

You rarely if ever hear anything about COVID on the TV news, and the number of new cases is surely an undercount, since not all the states are bothering to report any more. If you see what's really happening, you have to depend on the doctors, scientists, and epidemiologists on Twitter.

It's a good thing we don't automatically believe everything the government is telling us!
