Lots 'o Links

Here's the usual weekly array of news and culture from around the world, thanks to Betsy's Page, Maggie's Farm, and Larwyn's Linx.

Here's a bonus post from Ruthie Blue at the Jerusalem Post titled Right from Wrong: America's Sorry State. That sorry state is due to Obama, of course, and the column ends "Such is the state of the nation that Obama has helped its enemies demean – a country that should cause Third World despots to cower, not taunt, ridicule and threaten."

And here's Ben Stein's take on the black boycott of the Oscar awards.  They say America is more racially divided than ever, and nonsense like this just helps inflame things unnecessarily. Obviously performances are being judged by the quality of the acting rather than the color of the skin, and in our PC society, that's a bad thing. I just think the boycotters look like sore losers!
