"Two-State Solution" Delusion

Here's a common sense column by a guest poster over at Israellycool:

Why is the US Still Pushing a Two-State Solution?

"After all the history, why is the US still deluded?

"A two-state solution was proposed (the UN partition plan) in 1947 – Rejected….

"We then had the so-called OSLO accords which allowed for the proliferation of terror cells on Israel’s doorstep. The Palestinian ‘Authority’ has never ever been a security partner for Israel as was the intent.

"This agreement was a disaster from the get-go.

"In 2005, another attempt at a two-state solution, forceful withdrawal of Israelis from their homes in Gaza and the handing over of the area to the Palestinian ‘Authority’ which then hosted, and lost, elections.

"Israel has not occupied Gaza, in any way, shape or form, since the 2005 withdrawal. Whoever has claimed otherwise is buying in to propaganda.

"Hamas, after winning the elections, killed all the P.A. representatives and established themselves as the ruling military junta, and law, in Gaza.

"This (2005) attempt at creating a two-state solution has brought us to this very moment.

"It was disastrous for Israel and of course, for the Gazans as well. The Gazans, despite all their hardships, and despite what the world may think, still voice a majority of support for Hamas.

"Now America is pushing the two-state idea again. Seriously.

"Hamas, who claims to represent the ‘Palestinian people’ isn’t even attending the ‘summit’ in Doha, so what this is is an American ambush on Israel forcing her to kowtow to American election fever.

"This has been the problem throughout the history of Israel and her neighbors, the majority of whom have chosen to oppose Israel’s very legitimacy. Many of those self same countries were actually created in the same way, as was Israel. Go figure.

"The two countries that have made peace with Israel, Jordan and Egypt, have both benefited from the agreements.

"As to the two-state initiatives tried, to date (Oslo 93/95) and the withdrawal from Gaza (2005) have shown, beyond any reasonable doubt, that Israel has no believable partner with which to negotiate or coexist.

"Everything tried to date has resulted in broken agreements, ceasefires and much bloodshed.

"The United States is still flogging it’s dead political horse, but just like the legendary Princess Mitzi Gaynor, they have no idea it’s dead.

"In my mind, such folly will only lead to more bloodshed.

Why is the U.S. pushing the two-state solution? Because Biden, Blinken, Harris & Company are desperate to appease the American Jew-haters before the elections this November.

It's not about Israel at all. It's about continued appeasement of Israel's enemies.

Israel must say no to this so-called solution; no to any "ceasefire"; and no to Biden.
