How can you possibly be against that?

Nixon May Have Had Watergate, But At Least He Didn't Enable Terrorism & Drug-Dealing!

Commenting on the Politico story, Jonathan S. Tobin says, "Now, this is presidential obstruction."

That story is not surprising, if you know Obama. It's "The secret backstory of how Obama let Hezbollah off the hook. In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation."

The fact that it's Politico that broke this scandal gives it more credibility; Democrats can't blame it on Fox News.  But you can bet the story won't get much attention in the media, and Obama's "legacy" will be unscathed.

And here's some good news: "The Trump administration will reverse course from previous Obama administration policy, eliminating climate change from a list of national security threats."  So contrary to what John Kerry believes, climate change is NOT a threat like terrorism after all. What a relief to have some common sense at last!

Terrorism: It's All Relative

How's this for gall?  "The family continued to criticize the way the investigation was handled — even though the suspect, Akayed Ullah, allegedly launched a failed terror attack in a crowded city subway tunnel.  'These are not the sorts of actions we expect from our justice system,' the statement read."

The only sort of actions you should expect is that "our" justice system send your relative to Guantanamo Bay where he belongs!

Here's an item from the humorist's latest column: "President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel Wednesday sparked angry protests in the Middle East as well as hearty applause from Israelis. The reaction from Muslim groups was swift and angry. The Palestinians just recognized Austin as the capital of Mexico."

Jerusalem: Good for the Jews

Here are some reactions to Trump's historic announcement on the move of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  Of course we know how the Muslims will react, so let them riot and protest all they want.

David Efune writes:  "Here we have an administration that for the first time seems prepared to call the Palestinians’ bluff. The recognition of Jerusalem at the onset of a peace initiative — and the lining up of further potential repercussions — shows the Palestinians and the international community just how serious the president is."

This item is sad but true: "The Chicago Tribune reported that the six hundredth person this year was shot and killed in the streets of Chicago last week. It's little wonder why the Democratic Party is opposed to guns. If the shootings continue at this rate, eventually the only people left in Chicago will be Republicans."

Harassinine

Here's a question: why haven't these high-powered media women and celebrity types started their own female-only TV network and media outlet? If they are constantly being harassed by men,  the probability of further harassment would dramatically decrease! Or, in Washington, have women work for women legislators, and let men work for other men. It makes sense to me!
