Muslim Demands

Headline of the day from Little Green Footballs: "Muslim Cabdrivers Demand Right to Be Intolerant".

Good Reading

It's time for the latest edition of Soccer Dad's If...You Must, always a good source of interesting reading.

Going Dow-n

My first reaction when I heard that the Dow lost over 400 points? I laughed, because all this time, while the economy has been booming, the media didn't bother trumpeting the good news. But today, they seem almost triumphantly gleeful that there's bad news to report.

More PC Kowtowing

When I see stories like this after a hard day at work, it makes me ill. What kind of hypocrisy is this? "Even as the federal government is starting to crack down on companies that hire illegal immigrants, it's been helping those same workers send money home, cheap. Dubbed Directo a Mexico, the Federal Reserve-sponsored service allows customers without Social Security numbers to wire money through the Fed system to Mexico's central bank at little cost."

Korean Antisemitism

My pal Diane just sent me this story. It's encouraging to see that non-Jews can be as outraged over antisemitism as we are.
"LOS ANGELES – Korean-American community leaders said they plan to launch a protest against the publisher of a popular South Korean comic book that contains anti-Semitic images. 'I don’t have words to describe the outrage I feel,' said Yohngsohk Choe, co-chairman of the Korean American Patriotic Action Movement in the USA."

"Terror Threat In UK Worst Since 9/11"

How many times must we continue to explain the Muslim threat, and why won't anyone listen?
"Secret report: Terror threat in the UK worst since 9/11 (Telegraph). The terrorist threat facing Britain from home-grown al-Qaeda agents is higher than at any time since the September 11 attacks in 2001, secret intelligence documents reveal.
The number of British-based Islamic terrorists plotting suicide attacks against "soft" targets in this country is far greater than the Security Services had previously believed, the government paperwork discloses. It is thought the plotters could number more than 2,000."
Maybe if the headline read "Britney Spears Says Terror Threat Worst Since 9/11", people would pay attention!

Sugar Coating Hate

Rubicon3 reports on a vile incident of antisemitism in Croatia/. Hatemongers like these never stop to imagine that anyone will object, or that their actions will make the news. "Just a Spoonful of Sugar Helps the Antisemitism Go Down. Small packets of sugar bearing the likeness of Adolf Hitler and carrying Holocaust jokes have been found in some cafes in Croatia, prompting an investigation, the office of the state prosecutor said on Monday."

"Appeal for Courage"

Take a look at the Appeal for Courage, "a grassroots effort for active-duty military to support the mission in Iraq. The appeal reads in part: 'As an American currently serving my nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to fully support our mission in Iraq and halt any calls for retreat.'"

The Democrats Stink!

I love the writing team of lawyer Raoul Felder and comedian Jackie Mason! Here's what they say about the Democrats: "Like a baby's dirty diaper, hypocrisy and duplicity soils the Democratic majority in Congress, and like the diaper, the closer you get to it, the worse it smells."

Mardi Blah

This is the perfect donor who should give money towards the Mardi Gras! "Looks like being investigated for bribery and caught with $90,000 chilling in your freezer isn't always a bad career move. Rep. William Jefferson (D-Louisiana) has been given the nod from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) to fill the last open slot on the Homeland Security Committee, according to a story last week in CQ Today."

Nervy New Orleans

New Orleans is seeking donations in support of Mardi Gras. Maybe the city ought to get its priorities straight. I wouldn't give a cent, unless it was for the campaign to unseat Mayor Nagin.

"It's About Islam, Stupid!"

This is an excellent post about terrorists and their apologists.
"It's become second nature for civil authorities to claim a killing spree by a Muslim has nothing to do with his religion and instead resort to excuses like 'depression', 'financial problems' or 'relationship problems' ... It's not depression though, or dissatisfaction or business failures. It's terrorism and the cover up must be fought."

There Ought To Be A Law!

Must shiksa lowlives like Britney Spears wear the Star of David as a fashion item? And on the back of their necks??

"If...You Must"

As if Haveil Havalim #107 isn't enough, Soccer Dad comes through more great reading in his latest installment of
"If.... You Must". If you haven't already read any of this series, then YOU must!

Haveil Havalim #107 is Up (sort of)!

At first I got worried when I learned from Soccer Dad that Haveil Havalim #107 ISN'T up because Yid With Lid didn't have the time. But there's a twist, and you'll wonder what HH#107 would have looked like if he did have the time!

Vile Vote

I was getting ill watching the House vote against sending more troops to Iraq and really couldn't stomach it. Today there's not that much difference between our media coverage and that of
Al Jazeera which trumpets: "US House Denounces Bush Troop Plan"

Israel's Big Dig

Smooth Stone links to the live feed from "{The Israeli} construction project, {which is} an effort to prove to Muslims that their propaganda and rhetoric and accusations that their mosque is in danger, are full of crap." Well put! But isn't it a shame that Israel feels the need to prove anything to the Muslims?

Vote for Rudy!

This is a very good character study of Rudy Giuliani. Sean Hannity said something interesting on radio the other night. He said that as a conservative Republican, you may not agree with Rudy's positions totally (and I doubt there are any politicians you can agree with 100%), but it's worth overlooking the small percentage of issues you disagree with, if it means defeating Hillary Clinton and the liberal Democrats. I have admired him for many years, long before 2001, and this article offers a few more reasons why we should think about voting for Rudy.

Jimmy Carter...Again

Can't Jimmy Carter stop talking? Every time he opens his mouth or writes a letter he just makes matters worse. " In a seemingly absurd response to a call by The Simon Wiesenthal Center for members and supporters to send letters to Carter concerning his book “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid,” the former president penned a handwritten note to the organization’s well-respected founder and Dean. In it, Carter suggested that the Center lied about him and his book in order to raise money." The letter itself can be seen on the Newsbusters website.

"Offensive" Mothers Day Cards

I came across this story of politically correct idiocy via the Conservative Grapevine. This is happening in the United Kingdom, but you can bet it will happen here, too: "A school has banned the making of Mother’s Day cards because the headteacher does not want to upset children without a mother."

Anna Nicole Smith

I'm sorry she's dead, but here's a person who, as far as I can tell, was known for marrying a 90 year old millionaire; posing for Playboy; and having a child whose paternity was not known. What will the tabloids do without her?
Brace yourself for wall-to-wall TV coverage, autopsy analyses, "experts" coming out of the woodwork, and high ratings.

Wednesday, February 07, 2007

I just heard this news on Sean Hannity's radio show. Why on earth would the Bush Administration give in to these demands?
"Nancy Pelosi Demands Big Private Jet: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants taxpayers to finance a lavish private jet large enough to ferry her and her entourage—including family members-- from coast-to-coast without stopping. Pelosi is demanding the Pentagon provide her with a fancy jet that includes 42 business class seats, a fully-enclosed state room, an entertainment center, a private bed, a state-of-the-art communications system and a crew of 16. The aircraft must be large enough to make the cross-country trip from Washington D.C. to her San Francisco home without stopping to refuel. One congressman said Pelosi’s request is 'an arrogance of office that just defies common sense' and other House colleagues called it the 'flying Lincoln Bedroom' and 'Pelosi One.' The publisher of the world’s top business and financial magazine says Pelosi is a hypocrite because she promised to do everything in her power to achieve energy independence and stop global warming. A carbon-spewing jet to transport her along with her colleagues, family members and hangers on clearly contradicts that."

Lost in Space

Prepare yourself for the next media circus: the criminal astronaut is already being compared (sympathetically!) to the Runaway Bride, and excuses are already being made. Of course it's not her fault -- it's NASA's fault! The training is too rigorous! She couldn't cope! Well, tell that to John Glenn and Sally Ride, among the many other astronauts who never tried to to kill anyone. NASA ought to sever ties with her as soon as possible (unless they are afraid of politically correct ramifications: she's a woman, and they should be sensitive!) to try to repair their black eye.

If it Walks Like a Duck...

Here's a sentiment I wish we heard more frequently.
In Defense of '24' An Arab-American defends the real-life Bauers. BY EMILIO KARIM DABUL Wednesday, February 7, 2007 12:01 a.m. EST. "I am an Arab-American as well as a fan of '24.' The two things are not mutually exclusive, despite what the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other such groups have to say about this season's opening episodes possibly increasing anti-Muslim and anti-Arab prejudice in American society. Most of the terrorists represented in "24" through the years have been Arab Muslims. Why? Well, probably because most terrorists today are, in fact, Arab Muslims. As a descendant of Syrian Muslims, I am very well aware that the majority of Muslims world-wide are peaceful, hard working, and law abiding. That still does not change the fact that the greatest terrorist threat to the U.S. today comes not from the ETA, the IRA, etc., but from one group: Islamic terrorists."

What Happened to People's Brains?

Yet another example of the lack of common sense these days. Don't people ever stop to think??
"The minister of a Baptist church in South Portland asked for forgiveness Monday for frightening members of the Jewish community with a provocative newspaper advertisement that promoted his Sunday sermon about anti-Semitism. The ad for the First Baptist Church appeared on the Religion & Values page of the Portland Press Herald on Saturday, touting a sermon titled, 'The Only Way to Destroy the Jewish Race.' The sermon was supportive of Jews but the words in the ad generated fear and anger, as well as complaints to the church and the newspaper."

Haveil Havalim #105 is Up!

Answer: the latest edition of Soccer Dad's great Jewish blog roundup. Question: What is Haveil Havalim #105?

Hillary Clinton's Pledge

Hillary Clinton has pledged to end the war in Iraq if she's elected (heaven forbid). The PC Free Zone has a great take, above, on what she really means.

Stupor Bowl Sunday

I don't remember the Super Bowl being celebrated like a national holiday when I was a kid. These days it seems to be the be-all and end-all of everything, and or course just another excuse to drink and riot. When I was in the supermarket today, I lost track of the number of people whose carts were filled solely with cases of beer and bags of ice. Personally, I don't care who wins or who loses, but my friend Diane told me that the Red Cross is actually having counselors standing by to help people "cope" if their team loses! I can think of other, important things the Red Cross could be doing, can't you? And if you are so grief-stricken over a mere sporting event, you really need more serious counseling!

Outrageous Complaint

This has got to be the most outrageous comparison ever: "'We're vilified like Jews by the Nazis', says Muslim leader. Birmingham’s most senior Muslim leader yesterday compared the political situation in Britain to that of Nazi Germany. Mohammad Naseem, chairman of the Birmingham Central Mosque, said that Muslims were being labelled as a threat like the Jews were under Hitler." Right. Maybe if Muslims stopped vilifying and murdering Jews, hijacking planes, throwing helpless men off ships, beheading people, and flying jets into skyscrapers, they would be seen in a different light.

"The Islamic Mein Kampf"

You have to see this post by Smooth Stone. I had not yet heard of the Terrorism Awareness project, but their powerful video on the Muslim Nazis is necessary viewing, especially for those bleeding-heart liberals, Holocaust deniers, and politically correct fools who still refuse to admit the truth.

Lying Excuse of the Day

I'm sure people will feel sorry for this woman and make excuses for her, but if I were her friend or relative, I would wonder what sort of a conniving mind she has, to do such a thing. This is reminiscent of "the runaway bride" and other con artists.
