There's no mention of how many morons actually honked, but it's Texas, so use your imagination.

If You Don't Stop Them, They Will Come

Here we go again. "Carrying Biden Signs, Massive Migrant Caravan Pushes Toward U.S. Nearly 500 law enforcement officers attempted to block their path Saturday at a highway checkpoint in southern Mexico, but most migrants—carrying American flags or signs with President Joe Biden’s name—broke past." 

Everyone knows they're coming. It's not as if it's a total surprise. Do we really want a repeat of the 17,000 illegals under the bridge? How about working harder to prevent this caravan from getting in here in the first place? Imagine the reception if a mob of thousands of Americans decided to break into Canada.

The Murder of Sir David Amess, MP

What a tragic and despicable thing to have happened! The terrorist stabbing death of MP David Amess while he was just doing his job reminds us that we can't forget about acts of terrorism, even during a pandemic.

In an op-ed, Rafael Behr says "The veteran Conservative’s killing is a human tragedy and a chilling assault on British democracy."  "In reality, most MPs are more closely connected, more palpably in touch with the electorate than their many critics appreciate. David Amess was making contact with his constituents – physically present, personally attentive, intimately available – when he was killed in his Essex constituency on Friday afternoon. Whatever the identity and motives of the killer – facts that will emerge in due course – the act is felt as an assault on democracy, as well as a cruel human tragedy. The MPs’ constituency surgery is one of the least examined institutions of British politics partly because so much of what happens there is confidential. Anyone who has had the privilege of sitting in on a session will know how intensely private and often harrowing the stories can be of vulnerable people, anxious, adrift in chaotic lives or hostages to dysfunctional bureaucracy, turning to their elected representative for advice – or sanctuary."

Yes, Wearing a Mask is Exactly Like Being a Victim of the Holocaust!

I am so sick of  this outrageous comparison!

"The staunchly unvaccinated Anchorage mayor Dave Bronson defended a group of citizens who wore yellow Stars of David to a public meeting to protest a proposed mask mandate. The Wednesday evening meeting concluded with four people being arrested, including one man carrying a gun. After the arrests, which all occurred within the first half hour of the meeting, Bronson tried to justify the Stars of David to the audience. 'That’s what the star really means: We will not forget, this will never happen again,” he said. 'And I think us borrowing that from [Jewish people] is actually a credit to them.'

The moronic mayor later apologized, but it was too little, too late. The damage was done, and he shouldn't have said it in the first place. Hearing this comparison in relation to a pandemic reminds you that Jews have always been blamed for plagues.

If these despicable people want to protest the wearing of masks, just let them tape their big mouths shut instead!

Build Back Worse

I found myself nodding in agreement when I read this Greg Crosby column that listed the things Biden has done in less than a year to weaken our country. Here's an excerpt:

"I can't think of a president who has done more harm in so little time to our country than President Biden. Certainly no president in my over 7-decade lifetime. So, while it is somewhat gratifying to read that the latest polls show Biden's job approval going down, it is also rather frightening. Why frightening? Because the Real Clear Politics average of all polls taken puts his approval rating at around 45%. 

Yes, his average disapproval rating is at around 50%, more people disapprove of him than approve. But the fact that close to half the people polled are approving of this man sends shutters down my spine and scares the hell out of me. Who are these people? Aren't they paying attention? 

Haven't they felt the price spike on gasoline, food, and just about everything else? Haven't they heard about the collapse of our supply chain which has resulted in shortages on many store shelves? Aren't they aware that Biden has destroyed our energy independence and put us back at the mercy of the Middle Eastern oil cartel? Don't they know anything about the Biden family corruption? If they do, why don't they care?

Haven't they read or heard about the disgusting immigration disaster on our southern border? And what about the humiliating, botched Afghanistan withdrawal that killed so many and left over 100 Americans trapped in that terrorist-controlled country to this very day? Can those who have high regard for Biden point to anything, ANYTHING that he has done over these past eight months that has been a positive for America and its people?"
