Blackfive has a great post on the firing of Juan Williams. I feel exactly the same way when he writes the following:
"Please, DO NOT expect us all to act like nothing happened on 9/11 or to act like muslim theocratic governments don't actively support the killing of Americans. The truth of the matter is that no one gets nervous about flying in the presence of an Irish Catholic man in a kilt...well, unless he's the pilot (heh). That's because the catholic church and the Irish government don't collude to kill thousands of our citizens. It would be nice to not get nervous on an airplane just because someone appears to be muslim. It would really be nice to live like it was 9/10. But we can't because there are an awful lot of muslims who want to kill us, and IT. IS. NOT. OUR. FAULT."
