In the olden days, people would be ashamed and embarrassed over the figures in this article; these days, there's no longer any stigma, and Obama encourages the entitlement mentality.
On a related note, Flopping Aces offers "More lists I think ought to be published", other than the names of legal gun owners. He suggests listing the names of welfare & food stamp recipients, women who have had abortions, and criminals. Now that's stigma for you!
