America 250: Overwhelmed by Gratitude & Awe

I can hardly find words to express the awe and happiness I experienced while watching the America 250 events unfold yesterday and today, July 4-5.  I was literally glued to the TV the whole day, watching the Tall Ships; the military flyovers; Trump's inspirational after-midnight address;  honoring the Gold Star families; honoring the elderly military heroes; all the people who returned after having to be evacuated for the storm; Lee Greenwood singing "God Bless The USA" while the crowd sang along; the wonderful U.S. Army Band and its singers; the most amazing fireworks display -- it was just further confirmation to me that America is the greatest country on earth, and that I am fortunate to have been born here. 

How lucky we are that Trump is our President, especially during this glorious year.  The contrast between patriotic Americans and the Democrat Socialists could not be any starker.
