I thought of this item by Lori Bergman titled "The Death of Common Sense" after reading more excuses for the fake-bomb-wearer at Logan Airport. I also thought of Ralph Kramden in the above costume! Her mother excused her by saying, "...it may have been a mistake because Star used the shirt the day before on career day at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and when she went to pick up her boyfriend at the airport. 'It was just sleepyheads. She must have been just asleep to the fact of where she was going,' Stephanie Simpson said." Shouldn't going to an airport with a fake bomb have been inexcusable even before September 11?
