Regarding the debate, Kathryn Jean Lopez at NRO's The Corner said that her mother "...was too scared to watch. She played Monopoly with her six-year-old, hoping to avert financial crisis in the future." I didn't watch, either, but instead relied on those who were doing their usual great job of liveblogging.
