President Bush + African Gratitude

This is a great article about President George W. Bush and the lives he saved in Africa. Lucianne.com comments on the story this way: "Shhhhh! Let's keep this on the hush-hush or the Times will have it on the front page and we won't believe it."

This isn't such a secret. Time Magazine had Bob Geldof tag along with the President a few years ago. Geldof, for sure, had his differences with Bush, but was quite clear that Bush did more for Africa than any President before him. The likelihood that he will get any credit for that is, of course, about nil.
