Here's a great uplifting article from the New York Daily News: "The Year of Taylor Swift: How the singer gave back to fans in the best ways ever." Not only is she talented, modest, and genuinely nice, she doesn't feel the need to seek attention by way of the twerking, vulgarity, obscenity, sex tapes, nudity, and other shameless methods that talentless, desperate female "stars" use. It's always been refreshing to read about her.
I was sad to read about the death of Edward Herrmann. I'd never seen "Gilmore Girls" in my life -- for me, he was Franklin Roosevelt.
