From the NY Times: "A wealth tax to reshape the economy: Progressive Democratic presidential candidates have proposed the biggest changes to tax policy in more than a century. Bernie Sanders — who has said, “I don’t think that billionaires should exist” — and Elizabeth Warren have both outlined plans that target the wealthy to help pay for social programs like tuition-free college, universal child care and 'Medicare for all.' Critics argue that a wealth tax would cripple economic growth and sap the motivation of entrepreneurs."
Reshape the economy? It sounds like they want to destroy the economy instead! Why would a sane person vote for this?
