Stuck on Stupid, Part 96

A California woman died from water intoxication after participating in another one of those moronic radio station stunts. This is similar to the TV show "Jackass", where teens jump off 3-story buildings or ride on the hoods of cars, and everyone seems surprised when they die.
What's amazing to me is the way the water death has been reported. CBS says the woman was "killed" by drinking too much water. Killed? This would be true if the disc jockeys came to her house and forcibly poured gallons of water down her throat. But if you do something stupid by your own free will, and you end up dead, I can't see how anyone else can be charged for a crime.
