"The Philippines has passed the third reading of a bill that will forbid the media from describing suspected terrorists as Muslims. In other words, it would be illegal to tell the truth. This bill is known as 'An Act Prohibiting the Use of the Words 'Muslim' and 'Christian' in Mass Media to describe any Person Suspected of or Convicted for Having Committed Criminal or Unlawful Acts, and Providing Penalties for Violation Thereof.' Boy is that a mouthful. It was, not surprisingly, introduced by a Muslim Congressman. That 'Christian' word was thrown in there to appease the masses, I guess. Aren't you excited? This government is going to use its power to 'end the stereotyping of Muslims as kidnappers, drug pushers and terrorists.' Since when did it become the government's role to make it illegal to tell the truth?"
