This Day in History

On this date in 1969, Mary Jo Kopechne needlessly and tragically drowned in a car driven by Sen. Ted Kennedy. The folks at The People's Cube are marking this date as Ted Kennedy's International Swimmers' Day with a few choice barbs for the man who left her to die.
