A Flood of Criticism
I agree that the flooding of the Mississippi River hasn't gotten the attention it deserves, though I'm not sure it has anything to do with Obama: "Virtually unreported by the national media - because it might detract from President Obama's victory lap over the U.S.'s successful targeted assassination of Osama bin Laden - is the greatest flood on the Mississippi River and lower parts of the Ohio River since 1937". The Nashville floods were ignored by the media at this time last year, and the the same criticisms were made. Also, you rarely hear or see anything in the news about the triple disasters in Japan, an omission I find very odd.
