How anyone survived the brutal attacks is beyond me, but here are some eyewitness accounts. Also, read this touching story about veterans who asked that their ashes buried on their ships in Pearl Harbor, alongside their buddies. When I read things like this, it makes me even angrier to hear the moral equivalency argument used when critics say, "But look at how we interred the Japanese!" Yes, but at least we didn't massacre them!
