Raucus Caucus

The closer we get to the Iowa caucuses, the more nauseous I feel.  I have never considered Ron Paul to be a Republican at all and think he's in the race as the spoiler -- and he's doing a good job of it, too!  Read this Byron York piece, courtesy of Instapundit.  Paul and Obama are equally dreadful candidates, and it's very frightening to think that this is the best the Republicans can come up with in such a critical Presidential race. Let's hope the other candidates have some good vice-presidential choices in mind that may help turn the tide in their favor. As Argus Hamilton quips, "President Obama enjoyed a five-point jump in the Gallup Poll Thursday in his largest weekly approval gain. No one thought he could get re-elected a year ago. Things were looking pretty bad for President Obama until the Republicans began putting up candidates."
