Oh dear. Is everything becoming extinct? Handwriting has fallen by the wayside, regular books have become old-fashioned, and now comes word that the QWERTY keyboard may soon be a thing of the past. As Dale McFeatters says, "With the old standard manual
typewriter, the users could concentrate on only one thing -- what they
were writing. This no longer sounds like such a bad idea, antiquated
though it may be."
