Miracle of D-Day
In Victor Davis Hanson's latest column, he writes, "D-Day ushered in the end of the
Third Reich. It was the most brilliantly conducted invasion in military
history, and probably no one but a unique generation of British,
Canadians and Americans could have pulled it off." The NOVA program "D-Day's Sunken Secrets" also reinforced that feeling. We are lucky that Obama wasn't around then, or he surely would have botched it somehow.
