They're bringing our boys home, all right -- in a hearse. "Netanyahu said it was 'with great sorrow that we found the three bodies'
— of Naftali Fraenkel, 16, Gil-ad Shaar, 16, and Eyal Yifrach, 19 — who
he said were 'kidnapped and murdered in cold blood by animals… Hamas is
responsible and Hamas will pay,' he said." When we retaliate, wait for the condemnation of the world.
The Obama Administration disgraceful response to the murders was predictable, per Daniel Greenfield: "If Tel Aviv were nuked tomorrow, Obama and the State Department would
put out a statement with some fake commiseration followed by a warning not to destabilize the situation and to show restraint."

Support Israel
Here's a list of things to do to support Israel. In this time of brazen boycotts and open hatred, we need to do this now more than ever. For example, I wear jewelry from Israel and have an IDF bumper sticker on my car. In this upside-down, warped world where evil ISIS merchandise is somehow considered trendy, and where war is coming closer to Israel, we need to fight back, even in these small ways.

Obama's Iron Curtain
I really need to go on an Obama-free diet and stop venting for a day or so, but it's so infuriating, and you have to agree with Michael Reagan's column:
"He's lucky he still has the mainstream media by his side or he'd been looking at impeachment.
Imagine if the journalists at the New York Times, NBC or the New Yorker magazine were real watch-dogs, instead of the Obama White House lapdogs they still are.
Imagine if the IRS abuses or the botched launch of ObamaCare had happened under Bush II's watch.
Imagine if a third of Iraq had been overrun by ISIS terrorists in 2007. Or if our ambassador in Benghazi had been killed that year by terrorists.
The front pages of the Times and the Washington Post would have been slathered with new investigative stories and hour-by-hour reports every day.
The liberal media would have personally blamed Bush II and Dick Cheney for every slaughtered person and for every lost village or oil well.
At least today we have Fox News and conservative outlets like Newsmax and Daily Caller to cover the IRS scandal, which, though you wouldn't know it from reading the New York Times, dwarfs Watergate."

Ridiculous Lawsuit
Earlier I mentioned the "Victimization Nation" column. Here's yet another example of it, which I heard about tonight, to my disbelief: "A New Jersey driver has sued her former employer for requiring her to commute during rush hour." She has since been fired, but the solution to her problem was simple. You don't like to drive? Quit, and find a job closer to home! A stressful commute is NOT a "disability"!
What next, suing our employers for requiring us to work?

Fouad Ajami
I was genuinely sorry to hear of the death of Fouad Ajami, whose decency and whose friendliness towards Israel I admired. Paul Wolfowitz writes: "The death of Fouad Ajami this weekend, at the age of 68, deprived this
country and the world of a uniquely powerful voice – one that is at the
same time both Arab and American – that could have helped guide us, as
he has in the past, through the hazards and complications of his native
Middle East."
Who Cares? They're Only Jews.
From Israel Hayom: "Not only does the world not care, the world (largely) is
simply unaware of the kidnapping. For this exact reason, the head of
U.N. Watch, Hillel Neuer, arranged for Frenkel to address the council,
which, as usual, was hostile to Israel during Tuesday's meeting and
dealt mainly with Palestinian suffering while ignoring the other side.
The council focused on the 'oppression' of the Palestinians. How kind of
them to give two minutes to talk about the kidnapping. Long live
fairness." It's not only the kidnappings, it's the murders and the hatred and the Holocaust and the BDS hysteria that the public doesn't care about. We don't get the media coverage, we don't get the rabble-rousers like Sharpton. We're only Jews. We have to make our own noise no matter what.

Here are two examples from Hamilton's latest column: "The IRS chief said its back-up
server that stored Lois Lerner's e-mails was destroyed and recycled. Now
her e-mails with the White House can't be retrieved. The GOP just
offered Ed Snowden immunity from prosecution and his Hawaiian girlfriend
back if he'll send them his copy."
"The White House sent Joe Biden to Guatemala Friday to discuss the flood of immigrants pouring across the U.S. border this month. Human rights activists say the refugees who have arrived in America are determined to live free. All they have to do is qualify for disability."

Raging Against Obama
I love it when I find articles that say what I'm thinking. This column by Lloyd Marcus is one example. He writes, "As with every other extremely arrogant action by Obama, from blatantly lying about ObamaCare to releasing the Taliban five, while everyone expresses disbelief, outrage, and concern, nothing happens...Iraq is falling apart. A gazillion illegals are invading our country. Terrorism is back on the rise. Food prices are through the roof. Forty-seven million Americans are on food stamps. Ninety million Americans are unemployed. ObamaCare is a job-killing and health care disaster. And what does the Obama administration focus on? Taking extraordinary measures to force the Redskins to change their name. Unbelievable."

The United Nations of America
Unbelievable! You can't pay your water bill in Detroit -- so you call in the U.N. for help? Will this too now be considered a "humanitarian crisis" like the man-made stampede of illegal aliens? Is this really America?

Political Correctness in the News
Finally, some Americans are emerging from their shock or apathy to protest the Administration-abetted influx of illegals into this country: "Angry Virginia Residents Say 'No' to Obama Administration's Plan to House Illegals." Residents of every state should be equally outraged, but instead they're intimidated by political correctness. Will they still be PC when they come down with diseases or become the victims of crime?
From World Jewish Daily: NYTimes Manages to Write Story About Jews Fleeing France Without Using Word 'Muslim'. This only goes to prove that political correctness is still more important than human lives, and that even after the murder of Jews in the Brussels Museum, even after the beheading of Iraqis by ISIS, even after the Hamas kidnapping of 3 Israeli boys, they're still worried about "offending" Muslims!

What did we ever do to the Presbyterians, who narrowly voted to join the Boycotters?

Found: The WMD That Didn't Exist
I had to look on the Internet this morning to make sure I heard this story correctly on the TV news: "ISIS captures chemical-weapons plant in Iraq...When the facility came under threat yesterday, some wondered why the
discovery of WMDs in Iraq didn’t make more of a splash in the news,
considering the renewed controversy over the 2003 invasion." Some wondered why? It's because Bush would have been proven right and the Democrats wrong, and that just wouldn't fit the narrative that Bush lied to start an unnecessary war.
So: you're not supposed to believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but you are supposed to believe that two years of e-mails that implicate Obama have simply vanished.

The columnist is still managing to find humor in even the worst news, as evidenced by a recent column and this zinger: "The U.S. Navy sent aircraft
carriers into the Persian Gulf to monitor al-Qaeda of Iraq's advance on
Baghdad. We could do more. If President Obama really wants to get rid of
al-Qaeda of Iraq he should declare it a conservative non-profit group
and let the IRS take them out."

A Pattern of Antisemitism
Here's the always relevant Caroline Glick: "Over the past week alone, Jews in Paris were subjected to four
violent attacks. Jewish teenage boys were chased by a man wielding ax.
Other teenagers were sprayed with tear gas. Another Jewish teenage boy
was tasered. And on Sunday, two men approached a synagogue while
shooting a submachine gun and a handgun.
Outside the Jewish media, the events were barely reported. This, but a few weeks after the Belgian government refused to acknowledge that the massacre of four people at the Jewish museum in Brussels by a French jihadi was an anti-Semitic assault.
Jewish teenagers are kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists in Israel, and it’s their fault.
A old, handicapped Jewish man was thrown over the deck of a cruise ship, and America’s premier opera house says it’s art. Jewish teenagers are violently assaulted on the streets of Europe, and Europe yawns.
There is a pattern here. And it has nothing to do with peace."
Dialogue, education, and reason don't work with these people. All they understand is hatred and propaganda, so let's give it back to them in spades.

Terrorists as Heroes
Here's another good article from Israel Hayom. Boaz Bismuth writes "As long as Palestinian society sees terrorists as heroes -- there is no one to talk to." He also mentions that 1700 Iraqis executed by ISIS. When I heard about how they were lined up and shot, it reminded me of how the SS murdered the Jews before they built concentration camps. These are butchers and barbarians, and you can't reason with people whose goal in life is to kill you.
This is another reason Obama has to protect our borders. How do we know that Jihadists aren't among the illegals flooding into our country, and being bused and flown to our states? Who's flying the planes, who's driving the buses, and why can't they be prevented from landing here?

The War Against Christians and Jews
The slaughter of Christians continues as these Muslim savages go door to door in Kenya. Christians are fleeing from ISIS barbarians in Iraq. And the New York Times is actually implying that the kidnapping of the Israeli boys was staged -- by Israel! Why isn't there more outrage?
The Armor-Plated President
On Sunday, American military and law enforcement captured a suspect in the Benghazi attacks, and my first reaction upon hearing the news today was "How convenient!" Thanks to the neverending stream of bad news and scandals, you immediately suspect an ulterior motive or suspicious timing in anything that happens under Obama's watch. What gets me is that this suspect is responsible for the murder of 4 men, including an Ambassador, yet he's going to be tried in civilian court. Note that at the bottom of this page, it still shows Obama's approval rating at 40% -- despite everything! How is this even possible?

Wreaking Havoc
This country is in atrocious and embarrassing shape when marijuana and illegal aliens are actually seen as boosts to the economy.
As for the stampede of illegals at the border, I don't feel at all sorry for these children and pregnant women -- I feel sorry for us and the havoc it's bringing. Nobody's talking about the cost of this, the cost in money, in crime, in disease. Why have a border at all if it's not going to be protected? Some people are actually comparing this to Hurricane Katrina and the people who were resettled from the affected states. But that was a natural disaster, not a man-made one, and those people eventually went back home.
In just this past week, we've had the Lois Lerner "lost" e-mails, the ISIS gains and atrocities in Iraq, the Bergdahl release & terrorist swap, the kidnappings of Israeli teens, and the surge of illegals, while the VA scandal has been all but forgotten. I hate to see what this week brings.

Kidnapping Jewish Boys
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday by revealing
that three missing Israeli teenagers were kidnapped by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, which is currently a member of the P.A. unity
government." The American media yawns. Unless the abductees were black or Muslims, there's no outrage. These French attacks against Jews so far this month alone didn't make news, either. If it weren't for the internet, you wouldn't know a thing. Hooray for the IDF, who are on a rescue mission.
Look how the monstrous Arabs are celebrating the kidnappings - celebrating! - yet in the press it's Israel who's always portrayed as the villain.
Facebook has a campaign called "Bring Back Our Boys." Somehow, I don't think Michelle Obama and the Hollywood celebrities will bother to get involved.

Calling Rose Mary Woods!
Unsurprisingly, there's yet another scandal to add to the list: Lois Lerner's e-mails are "missing" due to a "computer crash". Isn't this awfully convenient? "According to Representative Dave Camp (R-Mich), the missing emails
were mainly to and from people outside the IRS. Oh, that means emails
from Ms. Lerner to the White House, Treasury, Department of Justice,
FEC, or Democrat offices." That they expect the American people to accept this lame excuse shows the contempt with which the Obama Administration holds us.

After hearing more about the unsurprising reverses in Iraq thanks to Obama's withdrawal of our troops, I immediately went to Blackfive and read this post called "The Hubris and Incompetence of Barack Obama". (Note that the URL is the very appropriate http://www.blackfive.net/main/2014/06/please-just-resign-mr-president.html!) Bush thinks of the deliberate destruction of his country by his successor.

Eric Cantor losing the Virginia primary and stepping down as Majority Leader might be the best thing that has happened in a long time to shake up the Republican party. Remembering Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman
This week marks twenty years since O.J. Simpson viciously slaughtered his ex-wife and a Good Samaritan who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I knew this was going to become a despicable travesty when people actually cheered on O.J. during the infamous Bronco chase. At the time, I followed the trial mostly because of the vivid, excellent writing of Dominick Dunne in Vanity Fair, and I can still remember the total silence in my office after we heard the verdict.
Let's hope on this anniversary that there is no misplaced sympathy for the murderer, only remembrances of the victims.

Here's Daniel Greenfield's Friday Afternoon Roundup, this one titled "True Lies." One item from it: "Muslim Kills Jews in Brussels, Brussels Mayor Says City Needs More Diversity." And don't forget about this great so-called opera titled "The Death of Klinghoffer"! The murder of Klinghoffer is more like it, and how is that brutal attack even considered a work of art?
I guess Cleveland needs more diversity, too. Finally, some protests against an antisemitic gas station there. If you can't shut off the pumps, then boycott the station and its ungrateful, hateful owner.
What a great story about the man who sneaked out of his nursing home to attend the D-Day anniversary in Normandy! All I could think of was this book: "The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared."

What a Dump!
Can we add to the list of Obama scandals the Great Central American Bus-Lift of 2014? If this is his way of forcing illegal immigrants on us, the way he is closing Guantanamo Bay by forcing terrorists on us, he must be deluded. The health and safety of Americans obviously has extremely low priority on his list. What amazes me is his still-too-high approval rating (usually 40-45%), despite all these continual outrages. I think he has taken the Messiah complex way too far and feels that he is invulnerable, and thanks to the fawning, protective press and the idiots who elected him twice, he is.

Vive les Américains!
"NORMANDY, FRANCE, June
2, 2014 – Four simple words are all it takes to accurately describe the
deep appreciation the citizens of Normandy, France have for the D-Day
events that led to the end of World War II. The words are powerful.
Honest. Sincere. And, most of all, indelible in the hearts and souls of
those who were freed from the clutches of tyranny 70 years ago. 'We have not forgotten' represent an
ancestral commitment by the people of Normandy that they will never
allow the memory of their liberation to diminish."

A Very Proud American
Read this article about Henry Hirschmann, who survived Buchenwald, joined the American Army, and fought the Nazis after D-Day. He'll be in Normandy for the 70th anniversary.
"The Jew Incinerator"
Richard Baehr wonders if European Jew-hatred has spread to America -- and then shows that it's already here.
"Real
violence with the intent to kill Jews occurred in Overland Park, Kansas,
a few weeks back, when a lone gunman shot and killed three people at a
Jewish community center. The killer probably would have enjoyed the
Chicago school game 'The Jew Incinerator,' and would have been willing
to help out the California teachers with additional sources for the
Holocaust denial assignment.
On college campuses,
the intimidation and harassment by the group Students for Justice in
Palestine has led to sanctions at a few schools, criminal charges at
one, and behavior that in general would fit right into pre-war Germany.
There is a pattern to
aggressive anti-Semitism, and more often than not, it spreads rapidly
when it is not condemned and called out for what it is quickly. The
proliferation of hate speech makes it more likely that some of the
vilest of the Jew-haters will jump from words to action when given the
opportunity."
Negotiating With Terrorists
Someone ought to ask John McCain and Everett Alvarez if they forgot how to speak English after being tortured in Vietnam for 5 and 8 years, respectively; or if their families learned how to speak Vietnamese. I'm sure the answer would be a firm no.

Mary Soames: A Great Lady
I just read that Lady Mary Soames, the youngest daughter of Winston Church, has died. I had seen her on TV over the years and read about her in biographies of her father, and I was very impressed by her articulateness, humor, and knowledge of history. As her son said, "She was a truly remarkable and extraordinary woman, who led a very distinguished life."
