Mike Nesmith, R..I.P.

I was sad to read of the recent death of my favorite Monkee, Mike Nesmith.  There have been some excellent columns about his life with and after The Monkees, along with musical clips that brought those old times back.

Before I clicked to listen to "Joanne",  I could suddenly remember the melody and the first  line, despite not having heard it in decades. Now that's a good song.
