"Congressional Republicans are escalating their fight against the Biden administration's vaccine and testing mandates. This week, lawmakers led by Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.) are expected to force a vote to revoke the president’s policy, which health officials say is key to controlling the pandemic, The Washington Post's Tony Romm reports. The plan follows the same blueprint Republicans used earlier to attack business restrictions, mask mandates and other public health measures."
Make sure you read the outraged responses in the comments section of that article.
In other COVIDiot news, "There’s a new trend in the fight against coronavirus vaccine mandates. Several GOP-led state legislatures are providing unemployment benefits to those who lose their jobs due to a vaccine requirement — and more could follow suit. The move departs from how states typically structure their unemployment benefits: those who voluntarily leave or are fired usually don’t get jobless aid."
These anti-vaxxers don't deserve jobless aid. They chose between their job and a lifesaving vaccine. Their vaxxed co-workers will have to pick up the slack. The quitters should pay the consequences instead of being rewarded!
