Andrea Widburg's column at American Thinker is titled Leftists, including women, are silent about Hamas’s murderous rape spree. She's right. They either don't say anything at all, or they downplay and even excuse the violence.
It's a case of "#MeToo -- Unless You're Jewish".
I'm convinced that leftists get angry and stand up for victims of violence only when those victims are the right, politically correct type: blacks, Muslims, or illegal aliens. Jews? Forget it -- they have brought death and violence on themselves.
Liberals also tend to forgive and forgive the violence of the perpetrators more quickly. Look how fast they starting accusing Americans of "Islamophobia" right after the Al Qaeda terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, that resulted in nearly 3,000 dead. Remember that Al Qaeda had chosen the World Trade Towers as a target because they were convinced that all Jews worked there.
So don't expect ultra-liberal women to stand up for Jewish women, or liberals to defend Jews in general, because to the liberals, they're the "wrong" victims.
