Parental Involvement? Fat Chance!
Excuses for childhood obesity always amaze me, but this one from Australia takes the cake. The way this is written, you'd think that the parents have no responsibility at all for their children. They just give birth to them, and that's it; it's everyone else's fault. "Homework contributing to childhood obesity, parents say. Parents and Friends chief Jenny Branch says as childhood obesity becomes a major problem, homework is forcing children to sit in front of computers instead of exercise."
