Good Economy = Bad News
Rubicon3 mentions the optimistic Larry Kudlow, who says: "Message to all you worrywarts out there: The U.S. economy remains strong. There is no recession ahead. Goldilocks rules." I had read another Kudlow piece the other day, appropriately titled "If Things are So Bad, Why Are They So Good?" He said, " I wish somebody would give this economy—the greatest-story-never-told—just a little credit. The fact is that stock prices are hovering near record highs, inflation is coming down, growth is going up, and jobs are going up." But it seems the mainstream media isn't interested in reporting the good news -- and enjoys reporting the bad.
