Letter to the Idiot-itor

Is this guy kidding?? How is this for a revolting letter to the editor?

"Israel uses fear of Islam to gain U.S. backing, commit atrocities. Does the Holocaust give a country the right to imprison millions of people like rats on an old ship and then to kill and maim them and their children for throwing stones in their direction? The rockets that the Palestinians have fired into Israel to gain a small bit of notice and respect have hurt very few Israelis. The Israeli response has been massive, cruel and heartless – essentially, “Throw a rock from a school and we will kill everyone in the school, including your innocent children.” It is time for the United States (you and me) to stop giving carte blanch to Israel and to demand that the Palestinian people be given a decent home and the respect as human beings that they deserve. The old, religious zealots who control Israel count on our fear of Muslims to keep us from doing what we know is right. A child is a child, not a Jewish child or a Muslim child. If you put yourself in the place that the people of Gaza find themselves, I believe many of us would throw more than stones to gain a bit of dignity, freedom and respect. Dave Genova, Asheville"
