Pogroms in the Year 2014

The European Jewish Congress has used the word "pogrom" in denouncing yesterday's virulent attacks on two Paris synagogues.  I'm glad they did so in order to highlight the scope of the hatred and violence towards Jews. Politically correct silence and euphemisms are not wanted!
