I always like the tips at Lifehacker, and this one makes great sense: Increase Your Credibility by Avoiding Use of the Phrase "To Be Honest".
An earlier post suggests you stop starting a sentence with "so". Another pet peeve of mine is the overuse of the word "basically", which means absolutely nothing!
