"According to regional daily Le Dauphiné Libéré, the attacker entered
the factory, owned by US company Air Products in the town of
Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, claiming he belonged to the Islamic State (IS)
group. The man opened gas bottles and set off an explosion. The newspaper
also states that one victim was decapitated and several others injured,
although there was uncertainty about how the man was decapitated and
where." Read more at France24.
Plus, there was a terrorist attack on a hotel in Tunisia and an attack on a mosque in Kuwait.
As usual, there was the usual immediate reaction from the West: "UK’s Cameron: Today’s jihad attacks are 'not in the name of Islam. Islam is a religion of peace.'" This is like Pavlov's dog with its conditioned stimulus, or like an out-of-office message or answering machine message that automatically responds the same way every time, over and over again. Don't they hear themselves?
Let's see if we get the same level of outrage over these savage attacks as we have had over the Confederate flag. Somehow, I doubt it.
