Anti-Normalcy

Every day, it seems, someone is offended by what was always considered normal. For the past few years, what's normal has been seen as bad, and what's abnormal has been seen as good.  Now the police are bad, ICE is bad, last-minute abortions are good, free stuff is great, marijuana is wonderful, and transgenderism is encouraged. It's enough to make you sick, or else not look at the news or the Internet.

I've been glad to see a few columns lately that feel the way I do. One was by Charlie Daniels today, titled "Lack of Common Sense, Comfort Animals and Anarchy: Where Does It End?"  Probably never, if the Democrats win the White House. Another column was "The Left's determination to destroy us from within" by Patricia McCarthy.

Tonight, I was doubly glad to see Drew Brees and the Saints win a dramatic football game. This decent family man and role model has been under attack for saying kids should bring a Bible to class on National Bring Your Bibles to School Day. How is this bad, while Drag Queen Storytime is good? I give up!
