Ken Burns' Captivating "Country Music"

I just love this latest project, despite not liking country music, and I highly recommend it.  But can’t we just watch the documentary and enjoy the narration, the human interest stories, and the photography without a lecture? Must everything always be about race & gender? I love all his documentaries, so stop trying to ruin the experience for me.
