The last few days, the sky here was as blue as the sky on that terrible day in 2001.
I just read that "A military judge on Friday set a date in early 2021 for the start of the long-stalled war crimes trial of five men being held at the Guantanamo Bay prison on charges of planning and aiding the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The five defendants include Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, a senior al-Qaida figure who has portrayed himself as the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks and other terrorist plots." That's 20 years after the fact! By that time, the events of that day will sadly be just a faded memory for too many Americans who'd rather forget it ever happened. I'm not one of them.
