Did Joe Biden's Aides Watch "Star Trek"?

Because the news that his "politburo" of aides more or less ran the Presidency for him reminded me an awful lot of the Star Trek episode "Patterns of Force."  Even the photo on that website is reminscent of Biden.

Biden was like the character John Gill in the Star Trek episode "Patterns of Force". Gill was a decent man who turned into a drugged, powerless figurehead, manipulated and controlled by others for their evil purposes. The White House aides weren't evil, but they participated in a huge cover-up, and essentially a vote for Biden in the 2024 election would have been a vote for the aides.

As Red State columnist Bob Hoge describes it in "Evil: This Is How Staffers Planned to Run the Country If an Incoherent Biden Had Been Reelected",  "They planned to use these 'proof of life' moments to prop up the commander in chief, but actually run the country themselves. In other words, they were able to convince themselves to do evil in the name of 'good.'"

We're so lucky that Biden was persuaded to bow out of the Presidential race, and that Trump was elected instead!
