The Rocket
I was a big baseball fan and Red Sox rooter when Roger Clemens first came up, and I always found him an amazing pitcher to watch. While I didn't love him as a man the way I loved Nolan Ryan, it was still an event every time he pitched. I'm not the baseball lover I once was, but I'd sure love to see Clemens end his career at age 45 with a World Series win with the Yankees.

Some twenty (or twenty one)years ago my mother was flying between Baltimore and Boston and the whole Red Sox team was on board. She got a sheet of paper signed by most of the players and coaches, including Clemens.
I probably would still be a Red Sox fan if we hadn't moved to Baltimore. For him to be an excellent athlete in his mid 40's is, well, quite a tribute to him.
(Though I really don't want him to win another world championship with the Yankees.)
