Olympic Moments

ESPN has a fashion review of the Parade of Nations. (Did anyone else do a double-take when the "nation" of Palestine marched in?) I loved seeing tall Yao Ming and child hero Lin Hao march in together; what a story!

"Nine year old Lin Hao survived the Sichuan Earthquake in May while many of his friends did not. After freeing himself from the rubble, he went back in to help rescue his classmates and he pulled two of them out carrying them to safety. Lin Hao then went back into the collapsed school and encouraged his classmates to sing songs, to keep their spirits up as Rescuers worked to free them."
