Curses!

Jeff Jacoby has a good column about profanity and how widespread it has become.  When you hear it used as a replacement for words in a sentence, you know things are bad. I remember when it wasn't even common for men to swear, never mind women! It's a turn-off, like tattoos -- there's nothing attractive whatsoever about it -- and it's just getting worse.
