Politically Incorrect Cheering

Apparently, cheering for your child at a happy occasion like a graduation is now considered politically correct and worthy of punishment. I guess the cheering might hurt the feelings of students who didn't receive as much cheering.  If I were this student, I would refuse to do the community service and hire a good lawyer.  Please -- can anyone make political correctness politically incorrect?!
