This story made me ill. The thugs on the bus who tormented this poor woman should be forced to visit a maximum security prison, in the manner of "Scared Straight" -- and their parents should be made to accompany them. I'm glad that so many Americans have been outraged by this and have sent an outpouring of gifts to Karen Klein, as our way of apologizing for disrespectful, disgraceful behavior and lax upbringings. The phrase some of us were taught as children, "Respect your elders", is obviously not being enforced today.
