What Passes for Adults These Days

Here's another example of the infantilization of American adults, and what passes for "the new normal."  We've heard of irresponsible people taking grinning self-portraits at inappropriate places like funeral parlors, at Auschwitz, etc.   We've seen people old enough to know better, like Geraldo Rivera and Anthony Weiner, taking nude selfies (how I hate that word!) and posting them for all to see.  Now we even have members of the military, who are supposed to be in charge of protecting our country, acting like disrespectful, immature fools. What a terrible message this sends around the world! For some reason, only one of these so-called soldiers has been suspended. I know it's too much to ask, but how about getting off your cell phone and off Facebook, and go do your job!
