At 9:52 a.m. Abdul Razak Ali Artan, an OSU student, drove a van over a curb near Watts Hall and after hitting pedestrians, and got out of the vehicle with the knife and started attacking people, said Ohio State University Police Chief Craig Stone. Nine people were injured during Artan's spree before Ohio State University Campus Police Officer Alan Horujko shot and killed Artan. Horujko happened to be nearby and ended the confrontation in less than a minute.
