Flagging Spirit

I already hardly watch the nightly news, and now it looks like I'll have to stop reading so much on the internet. Here's the headline: "Kaepernick objects to flag-Themed shoes, so Nike pulls them."

Of course they did.  The sneakers have the Betsy Ross flag on them. We're in America, and this is an American flag. This isn't the ISIS flag or the Nazi flag. Now that would be "polarizing".  Or maybe that would get less attention than this.

I'll be wearing my American flag-themed clothing and jewelry for the rest of the week, and if people don't like it, that's just tough.
