That horrific explosion in Beirut reminded me right away of something I'd read about the Texas City Explosion of 1947 - and also Timothy McVeigh's brutal terrorist bombing against the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.
Of course, Israel has offered assistance - but will they accept it?
