Points from The Final Report of The House Subcommittee on the COVID Pandemic

It was interesting to read about some of the points in this report. I always thought COVID was probably a lab accident and never thought it was a "conspiracy" to say such a thing. And points 4 & 5 in the first section are absolutely correct.

In the second section, I agree wholeheartedly that Operation Ward Speed, the development of the COVID vaccines, was a great achievement. It was miraculous to have produced vaccines for a brand new virus in that short of time, and I can still remember my relief when I was able to make an appointment for my father in January 2021. That was a great day, and it's just a shame that so many Americans don't take advantage of these vaccines.

BREAKING: Final House Report on Coronavirus Pandemic Released, Vindicates 'Conspiracy'

"The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released its final report Monday, making numerous findings that would have gotten people deplatformed four - or even three - short years ago, and some of the points upon which there was bipartisan consensus will rock the minds of the Covidian cult.

"Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), a physician, chaired the committee.

"Entitled “After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward," the report begins with Wenstrup outlining those points of bipartisan consensus:

1. The possibility that the COVID-19 virus emerged because of a laboratory or research related accident is not a conspiracy theory.
2. EcoHealth Alliance, Inc., and Dr. Peter Daszak should never again receive U.S. taxpayer dollars.
3. Scientific messaging must be clear and concise, backed by evidentiary support, and come from trusted messengers, such as front-line doctors treating patients.
4. Public health officials must work to regain Americans' trust; Americans want to be educated, not indoctrinated.
5. Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo engaged in medical malpractice and publicly covered up the total number of nursing home fatalities in New York. 

"According to Wenstrup, the committee also made numerous findings, including (but not limited to):

1. The U.S. National Institutes of Health funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
2. The Chinese government, agencies within the U.S. Government, and some members of the international scientific community sought to cover-up facts concerning the origins of the pandemic.
3. Operation Warp Speed was a tremendous success and a model to build upon in the future. The vaccines, which are now probably better characterized as therapeutics, undoubtedly saved millions of lives by diminishing likelihood of severe disease and death.
4. Rampant fraud, waste, and abuse plagued the COVID-19 pandemic response.
5. Pandemic-era school closures will have enduring impact on generations of America’s children and these closures were enabled by groups meant to serve those children.
6. The Constitution cannot be suspended in times of crisis and restrictions on freedoms sow distrust in public health.
7. The prescription cannot be worse than the disease, such /as strict and overly broad lockdowns that led to predictable anguish and avoidable consequences. "
